Body and Spirit can refresh at this heart-friendly lunch spot about 200 meters east of Fukuyama Tsutaya along the inner ring. This is a stylish whitewashed caf・where you can regain your peace of mind enjoying a tasty lunch of carefully prepared and seasoned brown rice and millet. There are two basic lunches. For 880 yen there is the main grain and vegetable lunch or the omakase brown rice lunch. Then there is the weekly 980 yen Cocoro lunch, a combination with meat, fish and vegetables and other ingredients. There is a millet-chicory blend that includes acorns, figs, malt and wheat and tastes like coffee. Also included with the meal is delicious ban-cha, brewed with tea left on the stem and aged for three years at room temperature.
