This historic Japanese confectionery was founded in the Edo period in the Sukagawa area. We produce traditional sweets from which we have learned our craft and get our ideas to make our more modern goods. Creamed black beans are rolled up in a rice flour dough to make "Junsei wa" roll. The French dessert dacquoise is tweaked a bit by using rice flour and brown sugar butter cream. And black beans to make the "Fukutawara" and the chewy glutinous rice cake "Tamafuku" and much more. We make seasonal specialties too.
