This bread shop has been operating in Sukagawa continuously since the Taisho Era. In our nostalgic atmosphere we display about 30 kinds of bread. The name Pan Kobo Furukawa has become synonymous with "Enoki no shita no soboro pan."
Sweet cookie dough is spread around on top of the soft bread. In the old days the grandpa and grandma worked in a small bakery under the enoki tree, but finally needed to retire. But everyone cried out, "We want "enoki no shita no soboro bread" again." With such encouragement the old man passed on to the current Furukawa owner all the tricks of the trade, so that the magnificent taste could carry on.
