At 65 cm in diameter, the reflecting telescope at Hoshinomura Observatory is the largest in Fukushima Prefecture, and is capable of clearly viewing planets.
Being situated far from any large city and at an altitude or 650 meters allows for ideal conditions under which to view the stars. We also are equipped with special filters to observe the sun during the day! For events and other information, please consult our Onodaicho official Website
